Opticular is a brand name for latanoprost eye drops. Latanoprost is a prostaglandin analog used to treat open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It works by increasing the outflow of fluid from the eye, which lowers intraocular pressure (IOP). Opticular Uses: Latanoprost eye drops are used to lower IOP in people with:   Open-angle glaucoma   Ocular hypertension (high pressure in the eye without noticeable damage yet)  Benefits: Effective in lowering IOP.   Usually only needs to be used once a day, making it convenient. Important information: Latanoprost is a prescription medication. You must see an eye doctor (ophthalmologist or optometrist) to get a prescription.   Do not use latanoprost without a doctor's prescription. Glaucoma is a serious condition that can lead to blindness if not treated properly. Self-treatment can be dangerous.
